UPDATE: Apple released a new 3E751 firmware update today (April 28, 2021) for AirPods Pro and AirPods (Gen 2).

Here’s the quickest way to update the firmware for your AirPods (Pro):

  1. Put on AirPods and play music or other type of audio for at least 30 seconds;
  2. Put the earbuds back into the charging case and close the cap;
  3. Connect the charging case to power using a Lightning cable;
  4. Wait 30 munutes and reconnect earbuds to your iOS device;
  5. Check firmware version: Settings — General — About — Your AirPods (Pro).

The most important feature the AirPods Max have in beating the prior products is that you will NEVER lose either earpiece to make an AirPod Max. Apple should have highlighted this on the product page.

In a nutshell, Apple News+ is simply overpriced.

I was peeling some potatoes when a handwashing countdown on my Apple Watch was triggered. Did that mean I’d have to finish peeling them in less than 20 seconds? @AppleSupport

I hope Apple Watch Series 7 could tell if I’m washing my HANDS or my DISHES.

I’m wondering why Apple One will not incorporate Apple Books. I’m aware that it is the only service relying on a non-subscription mode. But maybe Apple could change its mind and turn Apple Books into something like Kindle Unlimited and make it part of Apple One.

UPDATE: All my iOS 14 devices now perform really badly in FaceTime. Continuous reconnecting/disconnecting or constant failure to connect. iOS 13 devices and MacBooks are working just fine in this respect.

If some images on a webpage suddenly fail to load in Safari on your #iOS14 devices, try switching off Lazy Image Loading from Settings – Safari – Advanced – Experimental Features. This might be a bug of the very first version.

Thanks to decox123’s contribution, now I know how to solve the “VoiceTrigger is in use” error occurring when I was trying to empty the Trash on my Mac.

I was having the same issue and followed your recommendation and it worked for me too. Here are the exact steps I performed:

Disable System Integrity Protection
Click the  menu.
Select Restart…
Hold down Command-R to boot into the Recovery System.
Click the Utilities menu and select Terminal.
Type csrutil disable and press return.
Close the Terminal app.
Click the  menu and select Restart….

Login normally, then Empty the Trash Can

Re-Enable System Integrity Protection
Click the  menu.
Select Restart…
Hold down Command-R to boot into the Recovery System.
Click the Utilities menu and select Terminal.
Type csrutil enable and press return.
Close the Terminal app.
Click the  menu and select Restart….

All done….

Apple Notes is a great app deserving our attention. It’s lightweight yet functional. iCloud makes it even more reliable and powerful. I wish I could have a website hosted on iCloud Drive with Apple Notes being the editor.

If you encounter the error message “Sign Up Not Completed” when using Sign in with Apple with the option to “Hide My Email,” you should add the email address you want to hide to the “Reachable At” list in your Apple ID settings.

If only Apple’s macOS dev team had used the Music app for two consecutive hours! They wouldn’t have missed out on those annoying bugs.
